Prompt Gateway is a Chrome extension that writes AI prompts for you. You type or say what you need in a panel beside the page. It asks a few quick questions if something’s missing, then writes a clear prompt that you copy and paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any AI chatbot.
How does it work?
- Open the panel on your chatbot’s tab and type or say a rough request.
- If it asks a few quick questions, pick a choice or type a short answer.
- Choose Copy prompt and paste it into your chatbot. Want it different? Ask for a change in the panel.
Does it read my screen or my chats?
No. Prompt Gateway never reads the page you are on and doesn’t connect to your chatbot. You copy the prompt and paste it yourself, and nothing you say or type is stored.
Can I use it on my work computer?
Usually, yes. Some workplaces only allow Chrome extensions their IT team has approved. If Chrome says the extension is blocked by your administrator, ask IT to allow Prompt Gateway and send them its Chrome Web Store page.
How much does it cost?
It’s free for 14 days, with no credit card. After that you choose a plan, and nothing is charged automatically.
How do I install it?
Add it from the Chrome Web Store, pin it, then open the panel on your chatbot’s tab and sign in.
